Well... It Depends. If your old or existing skylight is a Velux Brand skylight than there is a good chance we can install a new blind using an adapter kit. If this is the case then we can install either light filtering blinds that are single pleaded or Room Darkening Blinds which are Double Pleaded. 

If you have an old dome skylight or something other than a Velux than unfortunately we cannot adapt the Velux blinds to fit your existing skylight set-up and we would have to change the skylight altogether to accommodate a new Velux blind.
